Data removal
Any company listed in our data, and any person whose data appears in it, can ask to be removed. We do it within 15 days, and the record does not come back in future editions.
Where the data comes from
Our editions are built from Brazil's federal business registry (CNPJ), kept by Receita Federal do Brasil. The phone numbers and email addresses are the ones each company registered there. See data inside our products for what we include and what we exclude.
How to ask
Write to contact@piafter.com with the company name, its CNPJ, what you want removed (the contact details, the whole record, or a piece of personal data) and your relationship to the company. A message sent from an address at the company's own domain is enough to confirm it. For personal data, tell us which data is yours.
What happens next
- We confirm receipt and act within 15 days.
- We remove the data from our working files and from every future edition.
- We keep only the CNPJ and the date of the request in a suppression list, so the data is not added again.
- Copies already licensed cannot be recalled, but our license obliges buyers to honor opt-out requests: if a buyer contacts you, you can ask them directly to stop.
Changing the source
The data comes from the federal registry. To change what is published there, update the company's record with Receita Federal (Redesim).
